Mrs Schofield

Welcome to 6S

Your Year 6 team is Mrs Schofield and Mr Jones, along with Mrs Hall and Mrs Prince.

Your Class Councillor is Archie Stubbs

Vice Class Councillor is Lilly Berry-Smith

Your Sports Councillors are Jack Aitken and Demi-Lou Machin

Homework

Year 6 homework: a Mathletics certificate (try and achieve 3 new gold bars per week), at least 50-100 pages of reading each week and five weekly spellings (which will start week beginning 10.9.18 and be found on this page.  They will be available from Friday pm for the following week).

Spellings, vocabulary and ideas for writing will all be improved if children can meet the Government recommendation of one reading book per week.

Please make sure that your child reads for at least 30 mins five evenings each week and makes a note of it in their reading journal, either at home or in school in the morning.  Also, it would be great if you had some time to discuss and share the book with your child.  We are really trying to promote reading for enjoyment and pleasure.  A record will be kept of the reading completed by your child and rewards can be earned.
