Use this blog to tell all your friends at Leighton Academy what you thought about the books you have read!

Once you have finished reading a book, log on and share your thoughts!

Remember to include:
- The title of the book
- The date you finished reading it
- Your opinion!  You could include your favourite characters, a summary about the book, or how many stars you would give it out of 10!  Remember not to give away the ending!
- Whether there are any other books in the same series that you are going to try.

Today I finished a book called scared i really enjoyed it.my favorurite charecter was gary.This book is alot of comic strips put together it is a very funny book.Verry intessting (exsiting) book.

Love love love the first ever Geek Girl book by Holly Smale I finished this book yesterday evening and would like to read the next two books called Model Misfit and Picture Perfect and hoping against hope that we can get more books for the library and if so to include the Geek Girl books. I'm going to ask for these at Christmas just in case.

My book review is on a book called revolting records because it is a very educational book and it made me feel like i was watching people do those records. i would like to recommend this book to all of my mates in year 6 and everyone else in the school. :)

I read a fantastic book called 'Girls in Tears' by Jacqueline Wilson. It's suitable for children from Years 5 and 6 upwards. There are a lot of girls in the story.

My book was called 'The Wreck of the Zanzibar' by Michael Morpurgo. My favourite character was Billy because when he went with Joseph Hannibal on to the ship he came back and told everyone that he worked as a cabin boy, and was treated like dirt.

I read this really interesting, exciting book and it was called 'Emily Feather' by Holly Webb and it was very mystical. This was because it had a girl that found a secret door and there was loads of different types of mysterious birds, toadstools and pretty flowers. My favourite character was Emily because she had the best scene in the story. I recommend this to adventurous book lovers.

My book is called Shadow. It is by Michael Morpurgo with 23 chapters. I enjoy reading it. It's about a boy called Aman. He and his mother are asylum seekers and they try to find a new home in England. But they are going to be sent back to Afghanistan. Matt and Grandpa do everything they can to help them.

i have just finished a book called my pony and it is about horse riding and i really enjoyed reading it. my favourite character was jess because she is a really good rider and she never ever stops riding on her pony shadow. her pony is white all over and sticky up ears on top of the head.

I read a book called "school play starts" I would recommend to anyone in yer 2 upwards because it is really short if u are looking for one and it is good for 2 people because it has like a convosasitoin in the whole book I really like it. It is in the girls rock series I enjoy them I really recommend this the words are not too triky, which is good!😀😆👌🏽
