In our first book club, the children loved going on a 'Beast hunt' in the forest and discovering new magical and dangerous creatures. The children enjoyed using their wands to keep the beasts at bay and trapping them in their box, using a spell they created. Children used the book to find the beast's names and find out how dangerous they are!
I can't wait to discover more beasts this week.

I love it !!! I loved it when we went on Beast Hunts and did magic spells , there was a book that told you all about the Mythical creatures and all sorts off stuff. we also made creatures on paper and coloured it in. We discovered that the creatures were all in the forest but we had to do it into the Library because the last time we did it we were all muddy like Pigs rolling in the mud.

Miss Newton wrote:

It is a good job the beasts got inside the school this week so we didn't get muddy.
